Druid



Druids of Elion fall into groves. The major grove of druids for Elion is The Circle of Oldbark, run by Arch-Druid Moonbark. It is taught that Moonbark is the manifestation of nature, and created the first druid.
There is a small grove of druids, loyal to the Iomedaen Church, located in the Cargon Oasis, Cargon, named Light’s Reach Grove. This is led by Light-Caller Erodis. This grove is neutral with The Circle of Oldbark.
In Nurmox, and the Temple of Zon-Kuthon, an evil grove thrives in the Night’s Woods. This grove, calling itself Night’s Veil Circle, is a sect of evil druids in service of the Temple. They are at odds with the other groves of druids. This grove is extraordinarily small.

Druids may not be Knights, save druids belonging to Night’s Veil Circle, who may become Knights of the Order of the Cockatrice. In The Circle of Oldbark, druids make up the religious leadership of the nation. Light’s Reach Grove druids are considered minor members of the Clergy of the Iomedaen Church. Night’s Veil Circle druids are not considered to be members of the clergy by the Temple of Zon-Kuthon.

Druids not aligned with one of the three groves are seen with suspicion by most. Druids of the Warriors of Gorum are favored by the organization and protected for their usefulness in major wilderness areas to the organization.
